Alpine F#1 Status pushes the boundaries of audio excellence, utilising the most advanced modern technology. F#1 Status is capable of playing audio at a staggering 384kHz x 32-bit resolution with an incredible 24,576 kbps bitrate ā 17.5 times faster than CD quality. This exceptional resolution creates an audio experience so realistic and detailed, you’ll feel like you’re immersed in a world of pure auditory grandeur, catching every tiny nuance and revealing a symphony of sound unlike any other.
Unlike a home audio system, a vehicleās audio system requires separated components such as the head unit and audio processor due to the limited space found in vehicle dashboards. Additionally, speakers are forced into suboptimal locations due to a lack of free space in front of the listener and the design of the cabin. The vehicle environment also creates acoustic challenges, like reflection and absorption of sound, road noise, vehicle vibration, and temperature changes that must be overcome to achieve an ideal listening space. AlpineF#1Status incorporates āPerfect Synchronisationā technology that solves these installation challenges to reproduce High-Resolution sound and create an ideal listening space in the vehicle.
At the heart of the Master Clock Management System, the OCXO DuCuLoNĀ® crystal oscillator was engineered with incredible accuracy. This ultra-premium component is located at the center of the HDP-H900 Audio processor where all the tuning of sound occurs. Shielded by a copper plate, the crystal oscillatorās location is protected from the influence of noise and temperature fluctuations that may happen in the vehicle. Two quartz crystals are housed in a dedicated, heat-insulated case along with a temperature control circuit which allows it to have 500 times the accuracy compared to a standard crystal oscillator. Ambient temperature changes can cause up to .002% of deviation of accuracy. To reduce that fluctuation to 0%, the oscillator is heated when the power supply is turned on. Once its temperature reaches a level where the clock accuracy stabilizes, the āclockā indicator light on the Head Unit Commander turns on, and the temperature within the clock is kept constant.
